Games and Sports

This Vidyalaya is providing all sports and games facilities to improve the strength of the students mentally and physically. The Vidyalaya is having a very good playing area of nearly about 4 acres.

In this area we have the following facilities-

1.     200 Mts Athletic Track.

2.     90 x 50 Mts Foot Ball Field.

3.     Volley Ball Court.

4.     Kho-kho Court

5.     Kabaddi Court

6.     Hand Ball Court

7.     Basket Ball Court

8.     Throw Ball Court

9.     Shuttle Badminton (semi- indoor) and a separate area has been allotted for primary section i.e., children playing park.

Highlights

K.V. Bellary being cluster in-charge of cluster No.5 is organising Athletics for Boys and Girls in all categories and Foot Ball for boys every year.

K.V. Bellary has a yearly schedule to conduct competitions in class wise and then house wise for all children from class I to class XII.

Regular Medical checkup is done twice in a year i.e., in the month of August and February to all children.

Annual Sports Day is celebrated annually in a grand scale with a VIP as a Chief Guest.

Every year children are taking part in Sports and Games in the cluster level, Regional level and even KVS National level.

In this year Master Vijay Kumar, Kumari Nikhila in Kho-Kho, Master Kiran Prasad in Taekwondo took part at KVS National Level and Master Joshoa Varghees in Athletics (shot put) at Regional Level.
