Year-wise Expansion

K V Bellary started as a one section school in November 1986 with classes from I to V in a private building in Anantpur road.

• The school had 105 students and 3 staff. 

• It grew  by adding one class each year and the first batch of class X passed out in 1992. D.E Vinay Kumar was the topper scoring 403/500 marks.

• Class XI was started in 1993 with one section of science.

• The second section in class I started in 1994 when the Vidyalaya shifted to its present permanent building.

• The first batch of class XII passed out in 1995. Guruprasad K.R. was the topper scoring 314 / 500 marks.

• The third section in class I started in 1999. That batch passed class X in 2009 producing 100% pass even though the school’s pass % was 98.

• The Vidyalaya has recorded 100% pass  for the past 5 years in Class XII. In class X it recorded a perfect score in 2003, 2005, 2007 and 2008.
